Alex Katzman graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988, completed a post-graduate program at Oxford University in England, and graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1993. Alex has practiced primarily in Bexar County and throughout Texas since graduating from law school. Alex is licensed by the Texas Supreme Court, the Southern and Western Federal District Courts of Texas, and the 5th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. He is board certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and the National Board of Trial Advocates.

He has served on the Texas State Bar Grievance Committee (San Antonio District 10) as a member 2005-2011 and Committee Chair 2009-2011, member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, member of the National Employment Lawyers Association-San Antonio Chapter, a former director of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association (SATLA), and a longstanding member of the Texas Employment Lawyers Association (TELA). Alex was recognized by “Scene in SA” magazine in 2006 as one of the best San Antonio lawyers in the areas of Employment Law and Personal Injury, and again in Employment Law every year since 2007. He was also recognized by Thompson Reuters as a Rising Star in 2005 and has been peer nominated and voted a Texas Super Lawyer every year since 2009. He is fluent in Hebrew.
